History of the Waldorfschoul Letzebuerg

July 1982 : Foundation of the "Verain fir Waldorfpädagogik Letzebuerg" a.s.b.l.

September 1983 : The first Kindergarten class opens.

September 1984 : The first and second grade open together with a second Kindergarten class.

Up to 2000-2001 : The school offers classes up to Grade 11.

2001 : A General Assembly of Parents and Teachers decides to complete the Waldorf cycle (12th and 13th Years) and to finish the secondary studies with the International Baccalaureat.

2002-2004 : Process of authorization of the IB programme in accordance with the IBO in Geneva.

July 2004 : Graduation of the first complete Waldorf cycle class.

September 2004 : The first IB class begins. Official opening of the secondary school building.

July 2006 : First IB Diplomas received. 100 % success rate.

January 2008 : A General Assembly of Parents, Teachers and students decides to introduce the VIF program (Individual Way of Formation).

2007 and 2008 : 100 % success rate for the IB students.

2009 : The school celebrates its 25th anniversary! Academic session on June 11 with an address by the school's President (Link?)
