One of the guiding principles of the Waldorf School Luxembourg is that no child will be refused admission for financial reasons. This principle is expressed in the « fräi-ëffentlech » (free and public) part of the school name. We are a caring community whose actions are in the best interests of the children entrusted to us. The school is financed both by parents and the State.
School fees
After deduction of the State financing, the current monthly minimun fee paid by the parents is € 295.11 per child (school year 2009/10 index 702.30 of 01.02.2009).

Other costs
The cost of all things specific to each class, such as materials used and trips or outings organised, are paid from a class account that each family puts money into and which is managed by one of the parents in the class. Depending on the grade (higher grades have more and longer class trips) parents should anticipate paying between 100 and 500 € per child per year.
After-school and holiday attendance of the Waldorf Maison-Relais is invoiced in accordance with the "Chèques service accueil" system, a system of service vouchers put in place by the Luxembourg Ministère de la Famille |

State Subsidy
Contrary to the intentions of its founders, the Waldord school is viewed as a private school by the Luxembourgish State. As such, it falls under the Law of June 13, 2003 regulating the relationship between State and private schools (Link to PDF of law).
