Motivated to learn without the pressure of marks and the risk of repeating a year!? With the fear of low marks and of failure taken out of the equation, teachers search for a stronger, more positive source of motivation for their students. Ideally, the material is presented in such an interesting way that the student does not need any other reason to study it.
The end-of-period and end-of-year reports effectively encourage students to increase their efforts where necessary.
During regular meetings with individual students, the teacher makes them aware of their own responsibility and talks to them about what is lacking both in what they know as well as in their attitude towards the work they have to do.
Last but least, it is a proven fact for us that the heterogenousness of a class can stimulate the learning process. |
